Visibility is an effective way to preserve the artisanal heritage that has survived for centuries and is usually produced by marginalized minorities who suffer from labor exploitation.

It's about the people who maintain their traditions.
It's about the people with disabilities who suffer from the lack of labor opportunities and assembled this chalk bag.

It's about fair wages for all and creating opportunites for those with limited opportunities, rethinking the way we consume products, and where they come from.

Izta is the collective result of the work of a large family of climbers, artists and friends scattered around the world. What brings us together is our love for climbing, the love of ancestral heritage and the love for our planet.

We want to redefine the community of climbing by inviting and inspiring new people to climb, but doing so in a mindful way by incorporating designs from ancestral cultures. Climbing is about sharing, supporting and inspiring each other, so why not support the communities that need it most?

Izta's chalkbags are made in collaboration with local producers from various indigenous communities in southwestern Mexico, assembled by people with disabilities in Puebla, and delivered with love to all corners of the world.
